A year of change for a couture wedding dress designer

Bespoke Wedding Dress Maker - 2018 In Review

2018 was a year for pushing myself with great love, which basically means taking my time with decisions and projects.
It was a year for making 'it' happen. As a Couture Wedding Dress Designer , I produced some intricate and challenging pieces that pushed my creativity, something that continues to be on going in both my art and design work.
Here's some of my 2018 highlights;

I become a preferred supplier of Love My Dress, one of the most respected wedding blogs in the world.
I was listed in the Top 10 Best Bridal Boutiques in You And Your Wedding's listings.
I won the Global Wedding Award for Best Designer.
I won The Wedding Industry Awards Best Wedding Dress Designer award in the regional category.
I started producing my own conceptual art, something dear to my heart and essential for progressing my work as a designer.
I focused on a new direction for my work and my business which was more authentic and reflects my true self, something particularly beneficial to my brides.
I launched a brand new website and started writing my new online journal, The Art Of Bridal.
I got a new puppy! A new furry edition to our household, and he's wonderful.

What a year of growth and discovery, I can't wait to see what 2019 brings!

"I turned to Catherine after searching without hope for a dress which would express my personality and allow me to feel comfortable in myself on my big day. It was immediately clear that she not only knew her craft inside and out, allowing her to bring out the best of my body but also got ME, my off-beat, fantastical hopes for the dress. The dress she created is magnificent, unique and so entirely "me". Catherine was a pleasure to work with throughout, and I could not recommend her enough" Kazmin

"Finding Catherine was an absolute highlight of my whole wedding experience. After despairing of boutiques all offering variations on the latest gown fashion, Catherine designed a dress that felt entirely "me" - she listened to all of my (at times disjointed!) ideas and designed an entirely wearable, entirely stunning dress. I felt like a glamorous Hollywood star all day, and yet fully confident that I had every bit of freedom to move, to hug, to dance, to roll about on the floor with the kids!" Lixi
