Be kind to yourself and practice self love
Over the last 20 years of serving many brides, one thing that never
ceases to amaze me is the lack of self worth and self love many women
feel.

I constantly find myself saying “Be Kind to Yourself “ because
some of the self-depreciation talk I hear breaks my heart. Part of this
job is to instill confidence and to allow a safe place to be authentic,
to be brave and bold, and to glow with self love. You may be a bride for
one day but you can learn to love and accept yourself every day. This
is why it’s important I take my own advice by being authentic, choosing
self love and self worth, and radiating my own boundless self love.

This has helped me to build the career I had only dreamt of as a
young fashion student. Looking after myself, ensures that my business
functions on the highest level it can, and I believe this is incredibly
important to building a beautiful life.

This is why I made the decision to try something new and to create
regular events at the studio that you can attend even if you’re not a
bride but want a deeper connection to self love.

The few events I’ve had at the studio with Laura from The Wellbeing Feelinghave been a trial
to see if this deeper introspection was the right fit
for the creative and feminine energy that the Blades studio has.
The workshops been a huge success so far and have sold out every time.

 I am thrilled to
say that later in the year we will be looking at more events in the
Inner Love Series delving into happiness, peace, creativity and inner
power.

This may sound strange coming from a bridal designer but, your
biggest day is not your wedding day. It’s the day you have faith in
yourself, to love yourself unconditionally, for in this moment of clarity,
you forever become the Bride of your own heart, limitless, loving, and
move through life with grace and ease.

It takes enormous courage to love without limits. To be all of
yourself with no exceptions. Sometimes it takes being stripped back to
the bone and the uneasy task of rebuilding yourself the way that honours
your existence. It is a never ending process of learning evolving ,
refining and moves at a pace that suits you on your journey in life .
