Mindfulness - Balance in a Creative Life

I’m so excited for the beginning of a journey with Laura from The Wellbeing Feeling. Opening the door to my creativity as you can imagine is pretty important, to be able to use intuition and feeling to turn a brides idea into a physical and sacred piece of art is of upmost importance to me . But none of this is possible if I don’t get clear with my own thoughts and direction in life. As the energy of Love is the source to my creativity, I’m so excited to be learning the art of reiki with Laura which will impact the nature of my work and open those doors to creativity . Laura is an incredible individual whom I’m excited to share her beautifully written words and knowledge with you.

To open up this deep work with Laura we will be taking a look at the internal balance of the masculine and feminine energies . It seems that as women race to gain power and take a stand to strive forward in business and status we can become imbalanced. This can often be the root of the tension, anxiety and illness. I’m looking forward to Laura's words of wisdom and her knowledge which we will be sharing in the intimate and creative feminine space of the Blades Studio. I’ve pretty much been unfolding myself since opening the studio, having your own business kinda does that because you have to learn to delve deep, to manage your emotional stress and become comfortable with discomfort in order to drive forward regardless of what people think. Mindfulness , positivity and personal growth are key to a happy and peaceful life. Creating balance within oneself is reflected in your external world, This is why self love is so important. To some this may be having their nails and hair done to others it may be time with the sun on your face, to walk among nature, or get lost in your passions, one thing I have learnt for sure is We can only Love as deeply as we love ourselves and this deeply energetic work is what restores life and the feeling of worthiness and wholeness.

This may sound strange coming from a bridal designer but, your biggest day is not your wedding day. It’s the day you have faith in yourself, to love yourself unconditionally for in this moment of clarity you forever become the Bride of your own heart, limitless, loving, and move through life with grace and ease.

My brand is the epitome of this and the logo not only represents Catherine Blades Couture but the letters C and B and the internal quest for self love and transformation. I recently received feedback that wearing one of my dresses was life wearing Heaven. I can’t tell you how grateful I am to receive such high praise. The energy infused into each dress cannot be seen but it can be felt on a deeper more sacred level.
